Gagle ("we", "us") provides an AI companion experience. Every profile in the app is an
AI-generated personality, not a real person. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.
Please read it alongside our Terms of Service.
Information we collect
- Account details. Your email address, or the identifier from Sign in with Apple or Google, used to create and secure your account.
- Messages and activity. The conversations you have with AI companions, your swipes, and your matches, so the experience can remember context and improve over time.
- Profile details you add. Your name, birthday, gender, who you want to meet, where you're from, a short bio, and prompt answers, shown on your profile and used to shape who you see.
- A profile photo, if you add one. Photos you choose from your library are stored so your profile can show them. Adding a photo is optional; you can remove it at any time from Edit profile.
- Device and usage data. Basic technical information such as device type and app version, used for reliability and security.
- Notification token. If you turn on notifications, a device token so we can deliver messages and match alerts. Turning notifications off in system settings stops this.
How we use your information
- To provide the core experience: sign in, discovery, matching, and conversations.
- To generate AI responses. Message content is processed by AI model providers to produce replies.
- To send the notifications you turn on: new messages, matches, and people who liked you.
- To keep your account secure and to prevent abuse.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
- We do not use your conversations to train AI models.
- We do not track you across other apps or websites.
- Your photos are used for your profile only. We never share them with other users' accounts outside the app experience.
AI processing
To generate a companion's reply, relevant conversation content is sent to third-party AI model
providers. We do not sell your personal information. We ask providers to process this data only to
generate responses for you.
Storage and retention
Data is stored on Cloudflare infrastructure, including photos you upload. We keep your information
for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data
at any time from Profile, Account, Delete account; we process the request and remove your data,
keeping only what the law requires us to retain. You can also pause your account instead, which
hides it without deleting anything.
Your choices
- Access, correct, or delete your data by contacting us.
- Sign out on any device to end a session.
- Remove your profile photo, edit your details, or turn notifications off at any time.
- Pause or delete your account from Profile, Account.
Age
Gagle is for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
